Kaskea Group Oy is a Finnish industrial company that manufactures traffic guidance solutions and industrial contract products. In early March 2027, KJH-Comp Oy will merge with Kaskea. Through the merger, our expertise will cover machining, metal and sheet-metal structures, and assembly of finished products. Together, we employ around 140 people and have revenue of approximately €25 million. We offer a developing work community where experience and technical expertise combine with a commitment to quality work and improving operations. We are looking for a Welding Shop Supervisor for Kaskea Group in Kauhava on a permanent basis! What would you do with us? As Welding Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the welding shop’s daily supervision and the smooth operation of your shift. You will work two shifts in close cooperation with another supervisor, allocate work, ensure production progresses and take care of information flow between shifts. Your work is hands-on supervisory work in the middle of production. During your shift, you will lead around 15 welders. The welding shop has an international work community of approximately 30 people. You will ensure welders have up-to-date drawings, work instructions, materials, tools and other information needed to start their work. You will support employees in interpreting drawings and work instructions and help solve problems that arise in day-to-day production. You will monitor welders’ qualifications, work quality and the progress of work stages. You will ensure safe working practices, functioning tools, and cleanliness and order in the welding shop. You will work closely with production planning, quality, maintenance, procurement and other production supervisors. The workplace is in Kauhava, and the work location may move to Alahärmä in the future. Work is performed in two shifts. What do we expect? We expect you to have practical welding skills and experience in the welding metal industry. You know the stages of welding-shop work and understand what smooth, high-quality and safe production requires. You can read technical drawings, welding symbols and work instructions, and help others interpret them. You have previous supervisory experience and a track record of guiding employees and organising daily production. You are an approachable supervisor who leads clearly and in a solution-oriented way, and keeps the overall production operation under control as circumstances change. The role requires fluent Finnish and enough English for practical workplace situations. Experience with production control systems, time tracking or daily production monitoring will help you succeed. We also value knowledge of quality assurance and quality systems in welding production. IWS qualification and experience in robotic welding are advantages, but are not requirements. What do we offer? We offer a permanent and responsible role in a growing Finnish industrial company that is strengthening its position as a contract manufacturer in the engineering industry. You will have the opportunity to lead experienced professionals in a practical production environment and use your expertise in the welding shop’s daily operations. You will receive comprehensive onboarding alongside an experienced supervisor, as well as occupational safety and quality orientation. Production and welding supervisors will support you. Monthly pay is determined by your skills and experience. Employment benefits include extended occupational healthcare and ePassi. Application process: If you are interested, we would very much like to hear from you. Submit your application through the link as soon as possible, but no later than 4 November 2026. We review applications during the application period, and the start date is agreed with the selected candidate. Recruitment is conducted in cooperation with Biisoni, but the employment contract will be made directly with Kaskea Group Oy. For more information about the role, contact Biisoni’s Roope Takala, tel. 050 475 2852 or roope.takala@biisoni.fi.
