Job Description As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments for sea and project cargo within Finland and worldwide. In the initial phase, you will primarily work with sea freight, but you will also participate in the planning and execution of project shipments. The focus of the work is on sea freight, but you will also have the opportunity to participate in the planning and implementation of project shipments. Project shipments may include, for example, coordinating the transport of heavy or oversized equipment using various modes of transport, as well as smaller project deliveries that offer the opportunity to develop your skills in more demanding logistics solutions. In addition to these qualities, we expect from you: - Previous experience with sea freight (preferably +3 years) - Experience in project shipments or coordinating special transports - Understanding of delivery/shipping terms (Incoterms) - Understanding of the basics of customs clearance - Fluent Finnish and English language skills, both oral and written - Willingness to learn to use various ERP and reporting systems. A new operational information system will be implemented during 2026/2027. Considered an advantage: experience in transporting exceptionally large goods (Heavy Lifting) as well as broad language skills (e.g., German, French, Italian in addition to Finnish and English).
