As an audit graduate, your day-to-day work will take place in either our Portfolio or Large & Complex departments. You will be assigned to one of our four client segments: Public, Private, Financial Services, or Top Tier and your daily work will be team-based. You will have a dedicated department manager and a coach to support your personal and professional development.You will quickly become part of your new community and have ample opportunity to build new relationships.As an audit graduate you:* Always work in audit teams and be in close contact with both colleagues and clients - often working on site at the client's premises.* Acquire extensive knowledge of your department's clients and, most importantly, the skills to advise and audit them.* Assist in planning client's audits, coordinating efforts with, for example, Deloitte's Service and Delivery Centres, which handle many of our administrative tasks, ahead of the reporting season.* Contribute to risk assessments of accounting areas, using your knowledge of the client's internal processes.* Work with an experienced audit team to conduct audits to ensure that the financial statements give a true and fair view.Your role will vary depending on which department you join but we promise that your days will not be the same. There will be room to learn, to ask for help, and to grow and take on the responsibility you want.NEXT - our graduate development programmeWhen you join as an audit graduate, you enter a full-time role and will join our internal development programme, NEXT, along with around 100 other graduates across the country. You are regularly brought together for training and to prepare for new roles.Depending on where you are in your training when you join us, you will also be studying part-time at the university. And for your first 100 days with us, you will be assigned a buddy who has been through the experience of being a new graduate and will help you settle into your new role.
