Moving Truck Driver

Mainio Muuttopalvelu is seeking an experienced mover / moving truck driver for Turku’s team. We want a worker who has prior experience in the moving field, can work independently, and operate a moving truck on relocation assignments. The role is at least part-time, with workload varying by orders, but there can also be substantial hours and the successful candidate may in time obtain more hours and a steadier schedule. What the job includes: performing household- and business-moves, driving the moving truck, lifting, safeguarding and loading goods, customer service at moving sites, taking care of the equipment and the vehicle, and a variety of transport and logistics tasks. You will undertake a broad range of moves and transports in the Turku area and, when needed, elsewhere in Finland. Mandatory requirements: a valid C-driver’s license; a valid professional driver qualification; prior experience in the moving industry; experience in loading/packing goods; good Finnish language skills; energetic and responsible work attitude; good customer service skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; reliability and initiative; good physical condition. Note: these are absolute requirements.
