Frontline Supervisor Apprentice for Satakunta Cooperative Market

We are recruiting for Satakunnan Osuuskaupan Sale and S-market chains for people interested in learning the responsibilities of a duty supervisor and, if needed, covering vacations or absences of our current supervisors. Traineeships are available at several units, in Pori and elsewhere in Satakunta. As a frontline supervisor trainee you will learn to guide the work group’s operations and be responsible for the daily running of the store, personnel, and profitable operations together with the supervising team and a supervisor. We expect you to want to learn coaching leadership skills to develop the whole team and achieve the unit’s goals. The position is part-time (34 h/wk) and the trainee period runs May–September 2027. We require the possibility of working in shifts according to our broad opening hours. The start date can be agreed flexibly based on your studies, and a trainee plan will be prepared based on your competencies. We will train you thoroughly in all tasks and support you along the way! In this role your days will be varied, and you will learn new things and develop your skills through hands-on work. We teach you to set goals and give coaching feedback in daily work. You will ensure successful customer experiences and smooth daily life with a positive vibe together with the rest of the responsibility team. The ideal trainee is open-minded and has a positive attitude toward work, and can motivate staff to engage in development. The job pay is based on the retail sector collective agreement. Hourly pay, depending on training and experience, ranges from 11.16 to 14.93 €/h. In shift work, evening and weekend allowances add to base pay. Additionally you may have a performance-based bonus.
