Addiction Medicine Specialist Physician

We are seeking a specialist physician with a special qualification in addiction medicine for Savonlinna and Pieksämäki for the period 4 January–30 September 2027. Work unit and duties The duties include scheduled patient work at substance-use outpatient services, including substitution treatment, and consultation work related to ordinary addiction medicine appointments across the South Savo wellbeing services county. The service also includes video appointments. In Savonlinna, at least every other week, ten (10) hours of on-site work and every other week ten (10) hours of remote work. One workday must be Monday. In Pieksämäki, at least every other week, eight (8) hours of on-site work and every other week eight (8) hours of remote work. One workday must be Tuesday. What we expect from you Special qualification in addiction medicine Specialist physician qualification Vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act Good Finnish skills Working hours and compensation Workdays Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00. The work follows a hybrid model. Compensation depends on experience. We also offer the possibility to choose a suitable way of working, for example as a self-employed practitioner.
