We seek a testing expert for the Esko patient information system development who will work as a tester within an agile development team. Your role will ensure together with other specialists that health care professionals using the systems daily have high quality, reliability and safety. You will have the opportunity to participate in developing test automation as part of modern software development. You will participate in different stages of software development from specification and test planning to implementation, result analysis, reporting and continuous quality improvement. You will be responsible for designing and executing tests in your own area and for ensuring quality of new features and changes. Responsibilities

  • Participate in various stages of software development from definition and test planning to test execution, results analysis, reporting and continuous quality improvement
  • Own responsibility for the design and execution of testing in their area and for ensuring the quality of new features and changes
  • Collaborate with other experts to ensure that healthcare professionals' daily-used systems are high quality, reliable and safe
  • Possibility to contribute to developing test automation as part of modern software development

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in information sciences, computer science or other applicable field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in software testing and test design and execution
  • Experience in test reporting and quality monitoring
  • Experience with software testing tools
  • Understanding of software development processes and agile methods
  • Ability to understand software functionality and identify key test targets
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Systematic, precise and proactive work style
  • Ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders
