Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for a permanent position to be responsible for maintenance at the Kiuruvesi plant complex and the Lapinlahti and Nurmes plant complexes. The role combines commissioning, systems development and future maintenance responsibility. You will join at a stage where practices are not yet being maintained but are being built. Role You will be responsible for developing maintenance at the main plant in Kiuruvesi and the satellite plants in Lapinlahti and Nurmes, and later for leading maintenance operations. Your workplace is in Kiuruvesi, but the role includes regular travel to the satellite plants. The plants are currently at different stages of commissioning. This means that, initially, the work will include: Building maintenance operating models Reviewing operations and maintenance documentation Supporting installation and commissioning from a maintenance perspective Defining and implementing a maintenance system Developing spare-parts and maintenance strategies Selecting external service and maintenance partners When the plants move into normal production, you will be responsible for equipment availability, developing preventive maintenance and controlling maintenance costs. You will report to the Plant Manager and work closely with other operational staff. The role emphasises planning, coordination and development, but we also expect you to be ready to take part in practical work at the plant. Our goal is to build maintenance practices that enable the plants to operate safely and as planned for decades. What we expect from you We are looking for someone with an electrical or automation background and an interest in building something new. You may have trained as an engineer, technician or electrical and automation professional. Your background may be in energy, process, chemical or other industry where maintenance plays a central role. We hope you have: Experience with electrical and automation systems Understanding of industrial maintenance planning and implementation The ability to combine practical work with managing the bigger picture A systematic approach to documentation and developing practices An improvement-oriented, solution-focused attitude and enthusiasm for building something new Fluent Finnish and the ability to use English at work Familiarity with Siemens or Beckhoff systems is an advantage, but you may also have experience with equivalent systems. You hold Electrical Qualification 2 or are ready to apply for it when you start work. Electrical Qualification 1 is considered an advantage. Why Suomen Lantakaasu?
