About the role

We are looking for a sheet metal machining center and laser programmer to reinforce the production team in Vaasa. In this role you will work with a variety of steel sheet components and directly influence production efficiency, material utilization and delivery reliability. As a sheet metal machining center and laser programmer you are responsible for early production tasks and ensuring programming for sheet metal machining centers and laser cutting machines is timely and aligned with production needs. Your duties include reading CAD drawings and technical drawings and preparing NC programs for laser cutting and sheet metal machining centers. You will design part layouts on the material sheet to minimize material waste and determine cutting sequences, required tools and machine settings, and participate in production process optimization.
