Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance connectors using Golang. - Provide technical leadership in microservices architecture, establishing best practices for RESTful and gRPC API design. - Contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance. - Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code. - Conduct deep performance tuning and optimization to eliminate bottlenecks in high-scale production environments. - Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements to existing systems. - Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features. - Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering practices. Requirements - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems. - 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production applications with Golang. - Strong experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems. - Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns — goroutines, channels, context management - Solid knowledge of object-oriented and idiomatic Go design principles - Experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices. - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, HTTP, gRPC, and messaging systems. - Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and caching technologies including Redis or Memcached. - Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. - Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a broad audience and work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Experience writing unit, integration, and performance tests. - Contributions to Open Source projects are a plus.
