Berner Oy is looking for a skilled HRIS Manager for its HR team at its headquarters in Helsinki.
The HRIS Manager is responsible for Berner’s HR information systems and their development. This is Berner’s first HRIS role, so you will have the opportunity to build the company’s HR infrastructure and shared HR processes and create solutions that matter throughout Berner’s growth and internationalisation journey. You will ensure that systems support our processes and, drawing on your HR experience, develop processes to make them more efficient and functional. We expect you to bring expertise and perspective from the outset, and your first major project will involve developing the HR system.
You will work as part of Berner’s HR team and report to the Head of HR. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders including IT, the BI/AI team and business operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Define, maintain and develop the HR systems environment (HR system, payroll system, time-tracking system and other HR-related systems).
- Lead implementation and development projects across business areas and countries.
- Ensure that systems, integrations and information flows work effectively.
- Ensure HR data quality, information security and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the controlled implementation of system changes through testing, documentation and user training.
- Train managers and stakeholders in the use of systems.
The role also includes responsibility for designated HR development projects, such as developing reporting and analytics related to the HR KPI dashboard to support business decision-making.
What we expect from you:
- Good knowledge of HR processes.
- At least three years of practical experience maintaining and implementing HR information systems, such as HR and payroll systems. Experience leading an HR information system project is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of requirements related to HR data management.
- Ability to prioritise and drive matters forward in a goal-oriented way in a changing, international environment.
- Interest in using artificial intelligence.
- Interest in following HR technology trends and developing your expertise.
- An analytical, data-informed approach to work.
- Ability to work and build collaboration across HR, payroll administration and IT.
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage.
- A suitable higher-education degree.
