We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Illenpihan unit at the City of Vantaa. The role involves creating a sensitive and safe everyday life where the child is at the center of activity. You will collaborate with a strong team of dedicated colleagues and operate with two teachers and one preschool assistant in the group. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood unit together with Illenpuisto; the unit culture emphasizes experimentation, development, and a supportive atmosphere. We value each other’s strengths and encourage trying new approaches. The ProVaka approach is used to support children’s social skills, and you commit to applying its principles with the rest of the staff. Proficiency in Finnish language (written and spoken) is required. The position is a temporary substitute with potential to become permanent. Employment terms follow the Municipal teaching staff collective agreement (OVTES).
