Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced long-reach excavator operator for an upcoming project in Kajaani. The ideal candidate has several years of experience operating a long-reach excavator in diverse earthworks and/or infrastructure construction tasks, the ability to work independently, and a safe work approach. Prior experience with 3D machine control is advantageous (Novatron). The work is expected to start around August–September with a contract likely to run through November–December 2026, with possible extension within the project. The job sites are in the Kajaani area; accommodation is arranged for travelers. Responsibilities include performing excavator tasks with a long-reach excavator; ensuring safety and independent work; willingness to work shifts and travel; fluent Finnish; demonstrated experience with 3D machine control (Novatron). Access to site requires own car. We offer wages under the InfA collective agreement or better, paid on time. The hourly rate is set between €15.71 and €20, depending on competency and experience.
