Trainee Construction Worker

We are looking for motivated and energetic entry-level construction workers for various sites in the Kuopio area. In this role you will learn practical construction skills alongside experienced professionals and build valuable work experience for the future. The tasks are varied and will be shaped by your abilities and interests. The most important is a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The job often involves site maintenance, helping with material handling and logistics, assisting construction professionals, demolition and clearing work, waste sorting, and other site upkeep tasks. Prior experience is welcome but not required; you will learn by doing. You will fit in if you are of legal age, hold a valid safety card, approach tasks proactively, work safely and follow instructions, are reliable and punctual, and have good Finnish language skills. Having your own car helps with site travel, but is not mandatory. Many sites are accessible by public transport. The role is primarily gig-work, offering flexibility to align shifts with your life situation. The position suits students, career changers, or anyone wanting to gain experience in construction. We offer a wage according to the construction industry collective agreement, typically 12.59–14.19 €/h depending on your skill level; quality work gear; diverse assignments at different sites; and opportunities to learn and gain experience in the industry.
