Kutterinhoitaja (luotsikutterinhoitaja) - työn ydin on luotsiveneen ohjaaminen ja kuljettaminen laivan ja luotsisasemien välillä. Kutterinhoitajia on aina kaksi: toinen toimii luotina ja toinen turvahenkilönä kannella varmistamassa turvallisen toiminnan. Hakijalta odotetaan useamman vuoden ajankohtaa meriliikenteen kokemusta, ammatti-veneiden käsittelyä sekä merimoottoreiden ylläpitoa. Kutterinhoitajat työskentelevät kotimaanliikenteessä liikennealueella III aluksilla, joiden suurin bruttovetoisuus on alle 100 ja suurin koneteho alle 750 kW. Vaatimukset: Kotimaanliikenteen laivuri –minimi pätevyys, koneteho <750 kW –koneenhoitajan pätevyyskirja, voimassa oleva laivaväenlääkärintodistus, rannikkolaivurin radioliikennetodistus (SRC).

Responsibilities
- Operate the pilot cutter between the ship and the pilot stations; two crew members present, one as the pilot and the other as a safety officer on deck ensuring safe operation.
