Nearshore Geotechnical Engineer (Contract - 6 Months - OUTSIDE IR35) g2's client are seeking an experienced Nearshore Geotechnical Engineer to support the delivery of marine and coastal ground investigation projects across the UK and Ireland. The client is a leading ground investigation contractor providing land and marine site investigation services. Key Responsibilities: Supervise nearshore geotechnical investigations, including drilling, CPTs, vibrocores and sampling. Oversee offshore operations and ensure HSE compliance. Log and interpret geotechnical data. Support project reporting and client communication. Coordinate with vessel crews, contractors and project teams. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' relevant geotechnical experience. Experience working on marine, coastal or offshore investigation projects. Strong technical reporting and communication skills. Willingness to travel and work offshore as required. Competitive day rate available, dependent on experience.
