Are you interested in a role where you design both new and repair concrete structures and see your handiwork reflected in finished buildings? We are now seeking a concrete structural designer for our Vaasa team to take on diverse design tasks. As a concrete structural designer you will design load-bearing concrete structures for various building projects. You will be responsible for your own design packages and advance solutions in cooperation with the project manager, the rest of the design team and the client. Your tasks may include both smaller independently implemented design tasks and larger projects as part of a project group. Our assignments cover new build and basic renovation projects—from small specialist tasks to major projects. We can tailor the job description to your specialization and interests. It is important for us that you have the opportunity to develop and take on projects that match your experience level and challenge you appropriately. We do not shy away from responsibility and we trust our specialists. We work in 28 locations, of which your own office is in Vaasa.

Responsibilities
- Design load-bearing concrete structures for diverse building projects (new builds and renovations).
- Own design packages and push solutions forward in collaboration with project manager, other design team and client.
- Work on both smaller independent tasks and larger parts of projects within a team.
- Tailor the role to your specialization and interests; support growth and challenging assignments.
- Contribute to projects across 28 locations with Vaasa as your base.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in concrete structures design.
- A relevant construction industry degree (DI / RI / Ins. AMK).
- Proficiency in static calculations and design of load-bearing structures; fluent with Office tools and AutoCAD or Tekla Structures. RFEM and other software knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in Finnish; team player but also able to work independently.
- Willingness to take responsibility for your design work and to think of new ways to do things.
