A trainee physicist is sought for the HUS Diagnostics Center. The position is full-time and starts 1 October 2026 or by agreement. The training period will cover radiology, clinical physiology, and nuclear medicine as well as clinical neurophysiology responsibilities. Workplaces are primarily at the Meilahti campus, with possible work across the HUS Diagnostics Center. The training is demanding; in addition to formal qualifications, flexibility in changing tasks and good social skills across professional groups are required. The job includes radiation work. Previous hospital physics internship experience is valued. The applicant should provide documents of continued study rights and a plan approved by the supervising professor for further training months in various subspecialties. The gross monthly wage for the trainee physicist is 4035.83–4193.07 EUR depending on experience and is determined by the SOTE agreement. The application deadline is 4 September 2026.
