The position is a fixed-term appointment, part-time 50% until December 22, 2026, and continues as a full-time position from January 2, 2027 to June 30, 2027. The day care offers Swedish-speaking early childhood education and preschool activities in a safe and inspiring environment. We emphasise forest-school activities and nature experiences, and celebrate Finland-Swedish culture and traditions as part of our operations. We aim for child-centered, individual and language-stimulating early childhood pedagogy where respect, relationships, safety and participation are always present. Working in a Swedish-language environment means a positive, purpose-driven activity with a focus on learning a new language. Eligibility includes childcare worker, child leader, practical nurse, or other equivalent training; candidates without formal education but with field experience are welcome. We offer a fun and collaborative work community with colleagues who support each other and share the same goals. You will have access to various staff benefits (e.g., occupational health care via Mehiläinen, ePassi) to stay healthy at work, as well as training days to develop professionally.
