Kaivinkone Foreman Assistant – Jyväskylä We are seeking a skilled excavator foreman’s assistant for our client in the Jyväskylä area. Are you a flexible civil engineering generalist who enjoys practical work on sites? We are looking for an excavator foreman’s assistant for diverse earthworks in Jyväskylä. As a foreman, you will be a key partner to the excavator operator and ensure the site progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plans through your own work. Your duties include: assisting the excavator operator as a partner; operating trenching devices and compaction work; installing insulation; using pipe laser and level laser; measuring and verifying heights; pipe installations; finishing and digging of trenches; backfilling and compaction; work related to installing wells and other earthwork structures; maintaining site order and safety; other varied tasks for the foreman and earthworks worker. We expect: previous experience as excavator foreman or earthworks; pipe and level laser skills; experience in pipe installation; proactive and self-driven approach; ability to work independently and as part of a team; good physical condition and readiness for outdoor work; valid occupational safety card; B-license and own car usage. We also consider good drafting literacy and other infra/earthworks knowledge a plus. Jyväskylä is the target location.
