We are now looking for an obstetrician-gynaecologist or a specialist trainee in the final stage of training to join our skilled and motivated team. What does work as an obstetrician-gynaecologist involve? More than 200 specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology work at Terveystalo. Gynaecology is one of the largest specialties in the private sector. As a gynaecologist at Terveystalo, you can make a broad contribution to Finns’ ability to work and wellbeing. Outpatient consultations and minor gynaecological procedures are possible at almost all our units. We also perform surgery at the following units: Kamppi/Helsinki, Tampere, Pulssi/Turku, Kuopio, Oulu, Lahti, Jyväskylä and Joensuu. As a gynaecology trainee, you can hold general practitioner consultations with a focus on treating gynaecological patients. We are currently looking for professionals especially for the following areas: - Southern Finland: units in the Espoo and Helsinki area. Individual evening and weekend appointments can also be arranged flexibly. - Western Finland: units in Tampere, Seinäjoki, Kokkola, Forssa and Hämeenlinna. - Eastern and Central Finland: units in Jyväskylä and Joensuu. In Jyväskylä, we are particularly looking for a surgeon-gynaecologist. - Northern Finland, especially the units in Kuusamo, Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi. Satu Wedenoja is the specialty director for gynaecology. The specialty director supports professionals and is responsible for developing operations and medical quality. Why work at Terveystalo? In addition to medical support, a designated physician and specialist contact helps and supports your work, assists with planning your everyday work and takes care of your orientation to Terveystalo, our systems and your unit. They ensure that your everyday work runs smoothly and that you can focus on your core expertise. A wide range of training opportunities. We offer our professionals high-quality in-house training, Terveystalo’s Physicians’ Days, weekly Tiedosta taidoksi training sessions, training in different specialties and a varied course selection through Terveystalo Academy. We also strive to support training outside the company. Support from the specialty director. Specialists who have recently qualified may need help from both the unit’s staff and the specialty director.
