Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a healthcare assistant for Kotipiha and home care in Kinnula for a fixed-term employment until 4 October 2026. Kotipiha is an enhanced round-the-clock care facility for the elderly, where work is done with a big heart. You will join a flexible working community and develop your skills alongside experienced colleagues. In Kotipiha, your duties include assisting elderly residents with tasks they cannot perform themselves, ensuring good daily living, medication administration within the scope of a valid medication license, care tasks, and organizing/ enabling activities. We hope for innovativeness in developing the work — our elderly deserve valuable and respectful care. We use the LifeCare patient information system and the RAIs assessment system. In home care, duties may include basic care tasks, medical procedures, medication administration, monitoring, and assessing customers’ service needs. Your work may also include a short coffee break, outdoor activities, or conversation on current topics with the client. Orientation is planned individually to your needs, taking into account your previous experience. Work at Kotipiha is on a three-shift basis and home care on two shifts. The task-specific pay is 2634.51 €/month. In addition to this pay we pay about 3% after 5 years and 8% after 10 years as experience allowances. Registration in the central register of social welfare and health professionals is required. You must have up-to-date competence in medication administration or start training at the beginning of employment. Compliance with infectious disease legislation is required. Influenza and pertussis vaccinations are determined by the employer. Terms follow the Social and Health Care Negotiation (SOTE agreement). A trial period applies.
