Responsibilities

Work with TPMs and Data Scientists as the technical experts for customers
Put AI into production using Phaidra’s platform and tools
Create facility models for ingestion by product lineup; map tag data; review Insights logic
Collaborate with Data Science to define product requirements based on customer specs
Coordinate with AI Controls Engineers and Product team to scale tools for thousands of customers
Travel up to 25% as part of role

Requirements

10-15 years of work experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent
Expertise in HVAC and Data Center cooling control methodologies and strategies
Knowledge of chiller plant fundamentals, configurations, and sequence of operations
Ability to operate as an Solutions Engineer independently
Understanding of applied thermodynamics for cooling systems, refrigeration systems, and hydronics
Experience designing, programming, or strong working knowledge of industrial and commercial control systems and protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
Understanding applications and control strategies of air side chilled water and direct expansion cooling systems
Ability to troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems and equipment
Strong collaboration with data center operations teams
Experience programming control systems with PLC, ladder logic, text, or block programming languages
Ability to translate customer needs into documentation for software development
Read/write Python scripts to implement Insights
Ability to work independently to resolve onboarding or support tickets
Deep knowledge of Phaida’s pipelines and documentation
Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts
Ability to manage large sections of documentation
Ability to read customers well and drive customer satisfaction
Ability to lead deployment and support of multiple solutions
Ability to mentor peers and collaborate cross-functionally
