Let us describe the challenge we offer In this role you will be fully focused on the quality of Polestar products. You will assure that Polestar have the right focus to immediately identify any potential quality defect by using all possible sources of information and secure fast solutions. Except from internal Polestar cooperations, you will also work in close collaboration with Volvo Cars and Geely in the areas of Product Quality, Product Compliance, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Customer Service. What you'll do As a member of the Global Manufacturing Quality team, you will: - Be an expert in customer perceived and experienced product quality, both detection of issues as severity assessment according to Polestar Quality standards. - Represent Polestar Quality towards our suppliers and business partners in quality related processes and matters. - Be the interface between Polestar’s global quality teams, the aftermarkets and the plant’s Quality improvement teams, handling internal and external quality escalations, non-conformities and deviation according to agreed processes and working methods. - Drive and participate in the investigation, symptom analyze, problem description and data collection of customer quality and compliance problems arising, support the root cause analyze and solution development within the agreed problem-solving processes until interim and permanent containment actions are implemented at customers, logistic flows, in plant or at suppliers. - Manage and calibrate the plants quality KPI’s, the plant’s consumer product audits and other decided product validation activities for Polestar products. - Collect, analyze and report market quality data as input to the quality improvement processes. Start investigations where required. - Perform product and process audits where and when required independent or with business partners and report the found non-conformities to Polestar management and related business partners and suppliers. - Represent Mfg. Quality team in Polestar Programs working together with the Program Quality teams to support flawless launches of new models. To be successful in this position we believe you have: - University master’s degree in engineering or equivalent through experience, with a strong interest in product engineering and manufacturing. - Minimum 7 years of automotive Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality Management or R&D experience. - Good knowledge about customer quality, quality systems, data analyze & problem solving and manufacturing and launch processes. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Fluent in Chinese and English. Requirements
