Data Scientist

Would you like to solve problems with clients? We are seeking a Data Scientist who brings Terveystalo’s data and analytics expertise directly to customer interfaces. The role requires solid technical skills, an outward-looking, curious can-do attitude, and roughly two years of experience as a data scientist. You hear the client’s challenge and prototype how data could help on the same day. You are especially excited about new possibilities from AI and enjoy ideation together with clients and your team. You will work on developing new analytics capabilities, possibly with direct client-healthcare customers or consumer data, identifying the client’s core challenges (e.g., sickness absence, work ability risks, health maintenance, prevention) and building scalable analytics products around them. You will run quick experiments, prototype on the fly, take your models into production, and communicate results clearly. The team includes seven experienced data scientists and web analysts, and we are part of a cohesive unit with data engineering, AI, robotics, and reporting. We build advanced analytics solutions in Databricks and follow best practices like CI/CD and version control. We encourage continuous learning and open knowledge sharing. The Data Scientists have delivered statistical analyses supporting impact and medical research, customer and business analytics, and predictive models and segments. The position is full-time and permanent. We work flexibly in the Helsinki Kallio area’s Kampi office and remotely.
