Practical nurse

We are seeking a substitute nurse for the northern area for fixed-term employment until 18 January 2027. The substitute unit supports the welfare regional care and caregiving units by filling short and sudden staff absences. As a substitute, you will work in different units, and your tasks will be defined by the activity and needs of the unit at the time. Your area of work includes elderly housing services and home care units in Kannonkoski, Kinnula, Kivijärvi, Kyyjärvi and Saarijärvi. You will be assigned the exact units and areas you will work in. Your shifts are planned in advance. Thorough orientation is an important part of a smooth start, and it will be planned individually according to your needs. The work is two-shift work. A driver's license and access to a personal car are required. A central task is to maintain and support customers’ independence and functional capacity and to enable them to have a high-quality, safe and meaningful everyday life. Your duties may include basic nursing tasks, medical nursing procedures and administration and monitoring of medication. As a substitute you will be able to use your skills in a variety of work environments. Varied work days provide good opportunities to develop your competence. The job-specific salary is 2808.33 €/month + 119.78 €/month on-call allowance. In addition, we pay experience-based increments of 3% after 5 years and 8% after 10 years.
