Cafe and Customer Service Worker

We are urgently seeking a part-time Cafe and Customer Service Worker for Tuusula Sports Centre and the Rantis Bar & Grill terrace restaurant in Tuusula. The role involves shifts at Cafe Urkka in the Tuusula Sports Centre, and at Rantis Bar & Grill in Järvenpää’s Rantapuisto terrace restaurant. The Sports Centre offers a range of café services, with serving rights near the tennis hall. We also handle on-site and phone customer service for Tuusula Sports Centre Ltd and make customer shift reservations. The sporty environment centers around racket sports such as tennis and badminton. At Rantis Bar & Grill in Järvenpää’s Rantapuisto, we offer fast food, ice cream, and beverage services, including wings, pizzas and paninis. Cafe Urkka serves year-round; shifts are mainly weekday evenings 14:30–22:00, while Rantis Bar & Grill operates in the autumn and weekends; we may also operate in Tuusulanjärvi winter season. We are looking for a person with prior customer service experience and understanding of cafe/kitchen work. We are not seeking a head chef, but you can handle basic tasks such as filling sandwiches, baking pastry, and operating a deep fryer. Since the employment starts immediately when a suitable person is found, a hygiene passport and an alcohol service passport are required (or the ability to obtain the alcohol passport immediately). In both roles, we mainly serve customers in Finnish, so excellent Finnish-speaking and reading skills are required. Good English skills are also necessary. You will mostly work alone, so initiative and the ability to handle pressure are important. We offer 12–30 hours per week, and we follow the PAM Hospitality and Restaurant Labour Agreement.
