Kultala restaurant, located in northern Finland among pristine forests, focuses on wild food and local produce and serves guests staying in accommodations with breakfast, a buffet dinner, and in spring as a ski-lodge cafe. We are now seeking a cook for Ruka for the winter season 2026-2027. Kultala is a catering restaurant, so duties include preparing buffet and plated meals of high quality. We require professional training in the field and several years of kitchen experience. Proficiency in Finnish is mandatory, and English would also be useful since our winter clientele is international. You should be eager, proactive and not afraid of customers, and you will do well in the role. The pay is competitive and based on your skills and experience, approx. 15–17 EUR/hour, with on-site housing available at a affordable price if needed. You will have Lisäpalvelu’s support and security throughout your journey with us; we ensure everything goes as agreed and you enjoy the location. We will check in with you from time to time on site. You can focus on the job and enjoy the fell. What we expect from you: smile in customer service, and you are a fantastic team player. You have a good attitude towards work. Experience in hospitality and/or vocational training. Hygienic certificate. Finnish language skills are mandatory. B class driving license + car.
