Saimaan ammattiopisto Sampo is recruiting a fixed-term hourly-paid teacher for the XRAISE project (Boosting youth employment with XR and AI technologies) at the Imatra campus for 15.9.2026–31.5.2028 or as agreed. The project, run in collaboration with LUT University and LAB University of Applied Sciences, aims to enhance youth employability by developing coaching and support services that leverage AI and XR. The educator’s primary role is teaching, guidance, and coaching, and the position includes project management responsibilities. The teacher will mentor young people, design, implement, and evaluate coaching and service bundles tailored to their needs. A key task is testing AI and XR-powered applications in student guidance and assessing their suitability for recognizing skills, motivation and self-efficacy as well as supporting pathways to work, education or entrepreneurship. The role also entails preparing and executing experiments and rapid prototypes in collaboration with other partners. In addition, the role includes project management duties for Sampo, including project administration, reporting, monitoring data and financial tracking, and participating in communications, evaluation and dissemination together with LAB and LUT. The successful candidate coordinates stakeholder and network cooperation for Sampo, strengthens youth entrepreneurship networks, and supports continuity of developed operating models. Administrative support will be provided by Sampo’s project team; the project manager of the Rajane_rd of the Reitit project acts as a working partner. We require professional or common qualification as a teacher for vocational or related field (as per regulation 986/1998 §§ 13, 14) and substantial experience in coaching. Experience in project work and good knowledge of AI and XR technologies are appreciated. Before confirmation of appointment, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with law 504/2002 and a medical certificate. A six-month probation period applies at the start of the contract. Attestation of studies and work certificates will be requested for those invited to interview.
