Short-term positions in early childhood education

We are seeking early childhood education staff to fill short-term substitute positions as childminders, teachers, and assistants in various durations. We also consider students and those with experience in the field for substitute needs. You can sign up for a substitute registry by submitting an online application. Applicants are responsible for maintaining their application and availability in the registry. Up-to-date contact and availability details are a prerequisite for offering substitute placements. Longer substitutes, fixed-term, and positions to be filled temporarily will be listed in a separate application process announced on the municipal site and Työmarkkinatori. Substitutes operate in daycare centers and groups with children aged 1–6 years. Having education in early childhood education and prior work experience is considered advantageous. In daycares Finnish is spoken. If you have additional language skills besides Finnish, you may mention them in the application. The application may also include a short personal introduction and outline relevant skills. Some duties may involve shift work. Qualifications are determined in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) or transitional provisions (§75). In short-term substitutes, even formally underqualified applicants may be considered for filling needs. Substitutes must present an approved criminal record extract as required by law (over 3 months). Teuva is a smoke-free workplace.
