Personal Assistant

We are seeking Personal Assistants to join Validia Oy to support clients in the Korson area of Vantaa. The role involves home-based or community-based assistance to people within the disability services; tasks may include helping with hobbies, studies, household chores, and enabling participation in leisure activities. The assistant may also serve as a conversation partner and companion, supporting the client’s independence and living at home as long as possible, while respecting the client’s autonomy. The work offers variety and flexibility; shifts are arranged with the client, and the role can suit students or retirees as additional income. No formal education or previous experience required, though these are considered a plus. We offer pay per private social services TES, pay grade G16A, and a supportive team environment. Training is provided according to your level of competence. Further opportunities to study may allow you to move into other social and health care roles. Requirements include genuine interest in care work, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and sufficient Finnish language skills (other languages are a plus). Vaccination protection as per the Infectious Diseases Act (section 48) and tuberculin testing as per section 55; a criminal record extract may be requested in line with social and health care supervision laws.
