Special Educational Needs Teacher

We are seeking a permanent Special Educational Needs Teacher for Kotka city’s early childhood education department, starting 7 September 2026. The role focuses on supporting early education and preschool, providing expertise in special pedagogical measures and coordinating support activities in collaboration with staff. The position is tied to the William Ruth Daycare and Käpylä Preschool group, with a work time form of 38.25 hours per week. The applicant should show commitment, sensitive interaction, and constructive collaboration, with a warm, respectful approach to children and families. We value ongoing professional development and wellbeing for staff. The salary is based on OVTEs tariff at 3451.84 €/month with six months’ probation. Recruitment bonus may be available.
