About the role

The role is for a Civil/Construction Engineer with experience in supervision of earthworks and concrete works, tendering and project documentation across Southern Finland. It is a permanent position with travel between sites, some remote work possible for tendering and reporting tasks.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Supervise earthworks and concrete works on multiple sites in Southern Finland
Monitor quality, schedules, costs and safety per plans
Cost estimation and tender preparation for contractors
Prepare tender documents and compare bids
Maintain project documentation and meetings materials
Track progress, changes and site variations
Administrative tasks related to projects
Travel to different sites approximately three days per week with two days remote work possible for administration
Occasional hotel stays as needed

Requirements

Technical education such as a degree in earthworks engineering or civil/structural engineering
Several years of practical experience in construction
Strong experience in supervision of earthworks and concrete works
Experience in tendering and cost control
Administrative and documentation skills
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage project progress
Willingness to travel between sites
Valid driver's license
