About the role
The role is for a Civil/Construction Engineer with experience in supervision of earthworks and concrete works, tendering and project documentation across Southern Finland. It is a permanent position with travel between sites, some remote work possible for tendering and reporting tasks.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Supervise earthworks and concrete works on multiple sites in Southern Finland
- Monitor quality, schedules, costs and safety per plans
- Cost estimation and tender preparation for contractors
- Prepare tender documents and compare bids
- Maintain project documentation and meetings materials
- Track progress, changes and site variations
- Administrative tasks related to projects
- Travel to different sites approximately three days per week with two days remote work possible for administration
- Occasional hotel stays as needed
Requirements
- Technical education such as a degree in earthworks engineering or civil/structural engineering
- Several years of practical experience in construction
- Strong experience in supervision of earthworks and concrete works
- Experience in tendering and cost control
- Administrative and documentation skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage project progress
- Willingness to travel between sites
- Valid driver's license
