About the role

Kuhmo is a forested city in Finland known for high-quality music and literary culture, chamber music, Kalevala, and a strong community lifestyle that values sharing, expertise, and quality. We are seeking a customer-service-oriented, proactive, outgoing, and energetic swimming hall attendant for a fixed-term contract. The workplace is Kuhmo swimming hall. Duties include cash register service, customer guidance, event production, and tasks related to maintaining the sports facility. The position is part-time (80%). Good interaction and communications skills and current first aid know-how are advantageous. Previous experience in similar roles is valued. There is a possibility to lead water exercise groups and participate in swimming instruction for schoolchildren; if you can participate in these tasks, your working hours may be full-time. We expect responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork. The job mainly includes evening and Saturday work. The employee must be at least 18 years old. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required. The selected person will need to present a valid criminal records certicicate for offenses against children and youth within 30 days of notification of the decision, per the Act 504/2002. The contract lasts until 31 December 2026 and starts as agreed or at the beginning of September. Working hours depend on the pool’s operations and opening hours Monday–Saturday.
