Lead HV Designer – Data Centre Substations Location: Finland Project: Hyperscale Data Centre Contract: Long-term We are looking for an experienced Lead HV Designer to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Finland. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of HV substations and electrical infrastructure. Produce and review SLDs, layouts, cable schedules, protection schemes and technical documentation. Coordinate HV design with civil, structural, MEP, construction and commissioning teams. Review vendor designs, equipment specifications and technical submissions. Ensure designs comply with Finnish regulations and IEC standards. Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning. Requirements Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Strong experience in HV/MV substation design. Experience with transformers, switchgear, protection, earthing and HV systems. Previous experience on data centre, industrial or major infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of IEC standards.
