As a personal assistant, you will be part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform themselves due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the main role of the assistant is to be a conversation partner and companion: a relaxed person for another person. The role of a personal assistant is significant in the client’s daily life, aiming to support and enable living at home as long as possible and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful daily life, respecting the client’s autonomy. This job suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. An open attitude and your personality go a long way!
