PR & Communications Manager

The Role:\nOffchain is looking for a Senior PR & Communications Manager to act as the primary architect of our global communications strategy. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, managing external PR teams, media relations, and developing comprehensive PR strategies.\nYou will develop thought leadership initiatives, secure speaking opportunities at industry conferences, and organise executive communications to ensure our leadership team is well-briefed for opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate Offchain's vision and values across various platforms and to diverse audiences.\nWhat you'll do: \nCraft and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on media relations, executive thought leadership, and ecosystem growth\nOversee external PR agencies and partners globally, setting clear KPIs and ensuring consistent delivery on brand goals\nEstablish and nurture deep relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers within the blockchain, crypto, and broader technology sectors\nGenerate high-quality content across diverse channels, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and executive briefing materials\nAct as a strategic advisor to leadership, preparing them for media interviews, keynote speeches, and industry panels\nWork closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and technical accuracy\nSpearhead crisis communications and proactively develop frameworks to mitigate potential reputational risks\nMonitor and analyse PR metrics to optimise performance and report on share of voice and sentiment to key stakeholders\nWhat you'll need: \nExtensive experience in PR and communications, with at least 3 years of deep immersion in the blockchain and crypto landscape\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts (such as Layer 2 scaling) into accessible narratives for various audiences\nEstablished network of media contacts within the Web3 space and mainstream business/tech press\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility in tone and format\nDemonstrated experience in managing high-stakes communications and safeguarding organisational reputation in a 24/7 news cycle\nTrack record of developing and implementing PR initiatives that directly contribute to long-term business growth\nTeam player who thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced environment and can provide calm, strategic counsel under pressure\nBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field\nPerks:\nRemote-first global workforce + soon to open NY office\nOpportunity for subsidized attendance to industry conferences\nMedical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)\n401k retirement plan + company match (US only)\nHome office set up / ergonomic equipment matching program
