Quality Specialist

Quality Specialist for marine industry. We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join Auramarine and take responsibility for coordinating and developing quality management activities within our Finnish organization. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining, developing, and harmonizing our quality management system across the organization. You will work closely with different functions and help ensure that quality becomes an integral part of everyday operations. You will report directly to the Group Quality Director based in China and be responsible for quality-related activities in Finland. The Finnish organization consists of engineering, product development, sales, and business support functions, while manufacturing operations are located in China. At Auramarine, we design and deliver fuel supply systems that ensure efficient and reliable fuel management for various types of vessels and engines. Our systems handle multiple fuel types, including environmentally friendly fuels such as biofuels, methanol, and ammonia, as well as more traditional fuels like heavy fuel oil (HFO) and marine gas oil (MGO). Our lifecycle services ensure optimal system performance throughout their entire lifespan. These services include commissioning, inspections, maintenance, predictive spare parts management, modernizations, retrofits, and training. Auramarine’s office is located in Littoinen, on the border of Kaarina and Lieto, but we also work flexibly with partial remote work during the week. Key responsibilities include coordinating quality management activities, streamlining current processes, maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, collaborating with the engineering team to improve engineering quality, supporting handling of customer complaints and quality issues, monitoring quality objectives and KPIs, coordinating internal audits, monitoring corrective and preventive actions, providing quality-related training, acting as internal quality advisor, and harmonizing Auramarine Europe and Asia quality systems. Required qualifications: university degree in engineering or related technical field; experience in quality management and audits; good knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 is advantageous; experience with audits, non-conformance management, corrective actions, or quality improvement; experience in engineering, marine, or manufacturing industries; experience in international environment; strong process management and organizational skills; fluent Finnish and English.
