Responsibilities
- Customer & Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with specialty, strategic & top accounts; Act as main contact for order status; Handle inquiries, issues, returns, and claims.
- Order & Delivery Management: Monitor full order lifecycle; Ensure order accuracy, fulfillment, and on-time shipping; Coordinate with logistics, sales, and planning to resolve supply challenges; Ensure compliance with customer requirements (e.g., VAS, EDI).
- Financial & Credit Control (Accounts Receivable): Monitor AR, collections, overdue payments; Minimize bad debt; Investigate billing issues; Support credit risk decisions and ensure adherence to limits.
- Reporting & Analysis: Analyze order book, risks, opportunities; Provide financial insights; Track KPIs (delivery, DSO, aged debt).
- Process & Compliance: Adhere to SOPs, SOX; Collaborate with external providers; Maintain data accuracy.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Finance, Distribution, external partners; Participate in customer meetings; Support system improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-2 years in a corporate environment
- Order Management/Cash Collection experience
- 2-5 years’ experience with SAP or similar ERP order management system
- Excel – Intermediate to Advanced (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements)
- Fluent English & Italian - both Written and Verbal
- Good understanding of logistical processes across markets
- Experience of Automatic system interface (EDI)
- Financial and Credit Management or Accounts Receivable
- Experience with supplier portal applications (Vendor Central)
