Medical Administrative Assistant

Would you like a diverse office role in a healthcare expert environment? We are looking for a department secretary / typist for a permanent full-time position in the Helsinki central laboratory’s pathology unit. In this role you will leverage your text-processing skills and support the pathology research process as part of a knowledgeable team. Initially your work will focus on transcribing physicians’ dictations into the patient information system, general office and archiving tasks, and customer service. As you gain experience you will participate in laboratory process support tasks such as entering samples into the system, handling incoming specimen material, sorting, and distributing samples to pathologists. You will receive comprehensive onboarding; not everything needs to be mastered at once. The role will evolve with your growing competence, and you will be supported by an experienced pathology team.
