About the role
Reception Manager responsible for the reception's operational tasks and high-quality customer service. Leads the reception team by example, supports staff in daily situations and ensures shifts run efficiently even during peak times. Participates in daily operations such as guest check-ins/outs, handling reservations and on-site, phone and email guest service. Collaborates closely with other hotel departments to guarantee a smooth service chain and an excellent guest experience from arrival to departure.

- Oversee operational reception activities and high-quality customer service
- Lead the reception team by example and support staff in daily situations
- Manage check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and guest service on-site, by phone, and via email
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth service chain and guest experience from arrival to departure
Requirements
- Experience in reception supervisory roles in hotel or hospitality industry
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team with an encouraging approach
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Solution-oriented mindset and ability to make decisions in busy situations
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Fluent in Finnish and English (other languages considered a bonus)
- Good IT skills – familiarity with hotel systems is a plus
