Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a part-time healthcare assistant to work with children and families in Jyväskylä and surrounding areas. In this role you will support the child and family in daily life and do meaningful work close to families. We are looking for a reliable and warm-hearted person who enjoys working with children and is interested in long-term collaboration. Job duties include supporting families and working mainly with children on the autism spectrum in their own homes. The work focuses on daily life support and does not include administering medications. Shifts are mainly in the evenings and on weekends, with shift lengths varying from about 2–8 hours. Initial hours are approximately 20–25 hours per month, with a long-term cooperative expectation. We hope you have: completed practical nurse qualification; interest in working with children; reliable and responsible work attitude; own car; previous experience with autism spectrum children is advantageous; willingness to provide a criminal record extract for working with children. We offer: part-time, long-term work with families; evening and weekend shifts; salary of 15 €/h plus possible experience allowances and TES-based increases; mileage compensation for using your own car; opportunity to start as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
