Early Childhood Education Teacher

A temporary position as an Early Childhood Education Teacher for a 3–5 year old group at Aurinkokiven päiväkoti in Vantaa. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, developing and evaluating the group's educational culture and learning environment in accordance with the municipal early childhood education plan and unit plan. The role requires collaboration with other education staff, ability to work multi-professionally, and strong teamwork and communication skills. We value the ability to recognize each child's individual needs, create a warm interaction with children and parents, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace. The unit uses the ProVaka model to support children's social skills; you will work in line with its principles. The position offers opportunities to participate in unit leadership discussions and to influence pedagogical practice. Requirements include fluency in Finnish (written and spoken). Start date 31.08.2026 or as agreed, with a fixed-term contract ending 13.01.2027 or as agreed. Salary: 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month plus allowances for certain degrees.
