Job Description
The Customer Support Field Engineer at Revvity provides expert service and support for diagnostic instruments, focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair, especially in newborn screening laboratories. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA with up to 25% travel supporting the Western United States. The responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance, and repair of Revvity instruments, providing preventive maintenance and warranty services, driving sales of value-added services, supporting local sales teams, maintaining records, managing inventory, and participating in ongoing professional development. Physical requirements include walking, standing, handling tools, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds, and safe operation of a motor vehicle. Basic qualifications include an associate's degree with some mass spectrometry experience and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Electronics, or Mechanics. The salary range is $70,000-$80,000, with additional benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, 401k, stock purchase plan, and more.
