Electrical Mechanic

Halva Oy is a Finnish family business that has operated for decades and makes well‑known confections at its factory in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. The team is tight and warm, and values hands‑on attitude and teamwork. The role is a direct hire to Halva Oy. You will join the factory’s four‑person maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted production, handling fault situations, preventive maintenance, and electrical and mechanical installation tasks. You will undergo thorough onboarding with an experienced colleague. Hours are part‑time two‑shift with mornings 06:00–14:00 and evenings 13:00–21:00 on a 3+1 pattern, evening shift every fourth week. Requirements include several years’ experience with electrical installations in an industrial setting, a valid electrical safety card, willingness to learn mechanical installation, organizational skills, accuracy and ability to work independently, and fluent Finnish (spoken and written). Additional assets include experience in food or process industry maintenance, experience with mechanical installations, and English skills.
