Project Manager

The Etteplan Defense GmbH, part of the Etteplan group, specializes in creating user manuals, testing and maintenance instructions, functional descriptions, repair guides, and training materials for the German armed forces, military, and defense industry. For our branch in Koblenz, we are looking for a project manager with the ability to successfully implement complex projects for our clients, especially the Bundeswehr. Your tasks include leading and managing defense projects considering time, budget, and quality; coordinating interdisciplinary teams; ensuring compliance with project management standards (Prince2); creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, and risk management; supporting the implementation of standards like S1000D and S2000M. Your qualifications include a completed degree or vocational training with further education (master/technician) in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable fields; proven project management skills (Prince2 certification; PMI-PMP); knowledge in creating technical documentation in an XML-based editorial system; basic knowledge of S1000D and S2000M; experience with content management systems (HiCo, Quils, etc.) and structured documents (XML/SGML); experience working with the Bundeswehr; strong communication and organizational skills; confident demeanor; fluent German and good English skills.
