We are looking for a husky guide for our kennel in Rovaniemi. Prior experience as a husky guide is a big plus but not required. The role includes all kennel tasks from basic care (feeding and watering the dogs, cleaning enclosures) to preparing and guiding safaris and customer service. Key responsibilities include ensuring the dogs’ welfare, feeding and watering, kennel cleaning, safari preparation and takedown, and driving safaris with a large dog-sled team. Maintain and develop customer service quality. What we are looking for: good dog welfare knowledge and a genuine desire to keep the dogs healthy and happy; proficient English; good interpersonal skills, listening and communication; ability to communicate with owner and other staff; reliability; willingness to learn and grow; a can-do customer-service attitude;flexibility and the ability to react to changing situations with patience; safety and risk management in line with Finnish law and FLH internal guidelines; close collaboration with the company owner and other staff. Start of work in October, with contract terms to be agreed.
