Employment Programme Coordinator

Omavalmentaja position in Kempele is a fixed-term role from 21 September 2026 to 26 February 2027, covering a parental leave replacement. The role involves supporting jobseekers in Kempele town as part of the Oulun seutu employment area, mostly within a team serving clients over 30 years old. Responsibilities include periodic interviews to assess client service needs, job search status, skills, job-hunting abilities, and work capacity; guiding clients to employment and services; drafting individual plans for job seeking; and offering in-person, telephone, online, and video-based support. Requirements include a suitable university-level or college degree and skilled work experience. The applicant should be able to assess client service needs, maintain a client-oriented service attitude, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have IT proficiency and English language ability. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the labor market, guidance and motivational skills, and knowledge of rehabilitation and pension systems and social services.
