Job Details
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of major or complex accounts covering key business segments
- Be responsible for multiple large, complex regional hierarchies with annual revenue between 2 and 5 million USD
- Own the long-term account strategy and support its execution
- Own annual growth in profits for assigned accounts
- Own the project account pipeline and pro-actively expand with account-entry teams to align projects and increase portfolio share
- Ensure effective team and company communication
- Develop a local pipeline of opportunities
- Collaborate with operations teams, designers, engineers, project team members and various departments to ensure successful partnerships with clients
- Show initiative and work independently to plan workload and tasks to achieve objectives
- Influence internal and external stakeholders
- Possess project-management capabilities to handle complexity of selling systems to high-level clients
- Responsible for local sales development (direct or indirect) through requirements gathering, long-term relationships and executing a strategy for accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in sales, marketing, management or engineering (or equivalent)
- Industrial industry experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- Seven years of experience in sales of Hilti products or equivalent external sales
- Lean Explorer certification (preferred)
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Willingness to travel internationally to the United States during initial training; visa requirements must be met to work in Canada
